random youtube clip of the week – jim everett is burning

This week’s clip is from waaay back in the day, when famed (?) sportscaster Jim Rome lacked facial hair.  Former NFL QB Jim Everett was scheduled to be a guest on Rome’s then-existing sports show, “Talk2″.  Being the guy that he is, Rome had been referring to Jim Everett as “Chris” (a reference to female tennis player Chris Evert) because of Everett’s penchant for avoiding numerous sacks by intentionally collapsing to the ground in the 1989 NFC Championship game.

Well, the interview didn’t go off as planned…
